How to Change Size of Taskbar Thumbnails in Windows 10

When you hover over the icon of the running program in the Windows 10 taskbar, a preview of the program window appears. This allows you to quickly navigate what is open to you.
By default, thumbnails are not very big in view. On devices with a screen diagonal of 13 inches, this is justified, but on large monitors the preview of the windows is not particularly useful because nothing is visible there. Fortunately, the size in this case can be changed.
Change Size of Taskbar Thumbnails in Windows 10
Open the registry editor. To do this, click Win + R and enter regedit. Or type regedit in the Start menu.
In the Registry Editor, find the following folder:
Right-click on an empty space and select “New” → “DWORD Parameter (32 bits)” in the context menu. Name the parameter:
Rename new parameter with MinThumbSizePx
Then double-click on the newly created element and assign it any digital value, but not more than 500. For example, 450. Close the registry editor.
Now start the task manager, find the “Explorer” process in it, right-click on it and click “Restart”.
Is done. Now the preview on the taskbar has become much more. You can experiment with the size in the registry editor and choose how you feel more comfortable.
If you want to return the default value, re-open the registry editor, delete the parameter you created, and restart Explorer.
